events & experiences open call 2027

Programme an event or experience at Birmingham Jewellery Biennial.

Expressions of interest open 21 September, close 2 November 2026

a city-wide programme

The Festival

Birmingham Jewellery Biennial is a month-long celebration dedicated to the art, innovation and heritage of jewellery. We're curating a city-wide programme of events and experiences, programmed by businesses, organisations and partners in response to the theme of jewellery, and that's where you come in.

How it works

How can you get involved?

We're inviting expressions of interest from organisations wanting to programme something in response to the Biennial, an event, activity or experience connected to the theme of jewellery. Your event becomes part of our official programme: you develop and deliver it, we promote it.

Criteria

A few simple things

Your event or offer must take place in Birmingham, between 1 and 31 May 2027. Organisations based outside Birmingham are welcome to be part of the festival, the event itself just needs to happen in the city.

Your event, activity or promotion must respond to the theme of jewellery. Beyond that there's no fixed format, we'd rather see an idea that's right for your organisation than one that fits a template.

You must be willing to badge your activity as being part of Birmingham Jewellery Biennial. We will share our logo and our brand guidelines to help you do this. You must agree not to promote your event ahead of the festival programme going live on our website on 3 March 2027.

If you have any difficulty using this form or have specific access needs that would help you complete your application, please get in touch at coordinator@birminghamjewellerybiennial.com. Let us know your preferred contact method and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
